Fun, beautifully detailed and the boot to own! Each boot is hand crafted from a formaldehyde free leather, locally sourced materials, and a recycled tire sole. Boots are available in whole sizes only and run a tad on the large side. But if you have a high instep, we recommend you select the bigger size.

About the tires used in the boots…
- It is estimated that 1.3 billion tires are sold every year and more than two thirds of those tires replace old worn out ones
- Tires can burn for months creating a constant flow of black acrid plumes of smoke that release pollutants such as mercury, arsenic and lead among others, into the air reaching for miles at a stretch
- It takes half a barrel of crude oil to product the rubber in just one tire
- It is estimated that 2 to 3 billion tires are currently stockpiled in the US
For every tire that is removed from the landfill, Greenbees is able to produce 4 pairs of shoes
The leather used in each of our shoes is a by product of the meat industry that is already in existence
All materials that are used to create our shoes are sourced locally. We choose to use what is around us rather than to ship in.
